Report from the SMB Planning Committee Meeting


Held on Thursday 2 February 2017 at 7pm in the Village Centre.




Those present: Chairman David Peart and Cllrs Ray Randall, Tony Styles, Carole Whitlock and the clerk, Derek Kane.

16/004566/HSE — Overbourne House, Red Lane, Binley — Installation of dormer windows and roof light to front elevation of garage and conversion of roof space to living accommodation.




Decision: No objection.




4. Trees — Notice of Intent:




T/00011/17/TCA — Highland House, Windmill Lane, Stoke — Fell 4 sycamores




The council notes that the applicant (form his application form) wishes to reduce height by 50% or fell (with no-replanting)




Decision: Object to felling.  No objection to reducing by 50%.

Granted on 5 January 2017.

c). (not on agenda) Request for use of MUGA as car park for Friends of SMB School from 7pm on 10/2/17.








d). (not on agenda) Advice from Patrick and Fiona Foote on village clean-up morning on 25/3/17.




Noted. The clerk will arrange with the organisers for a supply of bin bags and litter-picks.
